Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Konamiya LLC (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit asymmetric-decisions.lucashubert.me or buy Asymmetric Decisions. We aim to comply with the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and other U.S. state privacy laws.
Information we collect
- Purchase data: name, email, billing country, and payment confirmation — collected by our payment processor (Stripe) when you buy. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Email/contact data: your email address, used to deliver your files and (unless you unsubscribe) the Beyond Noise newsletter.
- Usage & device data: IP address, browser, pages viewed, and similar analytics data — only via cookies you consent to.
How we use it
- To deliver the product and process your payment.
- To send transactional emails (your download links, receipts).
- To send the Beyond Noise newsletter, with one-click unsubscribe in every email.
- To measure and improve marketing, where you have consented to analytics/advertising cookies.
- To prevent fraud and meet legal/tax obligations.
Legal bases (GDPR)
We process data to perform our contract with you (delivering the product), based on your consent (analytics/advertising cookies and the newsletter), and based on our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and improving our service). You may withdraw consent at any time.
Cookies & tracking
By default we set only essential cookies. Analytics and advertising cookies (e.g. Google, Meta) are loaded only after you opt in via our cookie banner, using Google Consent Mode v2 (default denied). We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out. You can change your choice anytime via in the footer.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers (sub-processors), each under their own privacy terms:
- Stripe (incl. Stripe Managed Payments / Link) — payment processing, merchant of record, fraud prevention, tax (policy).
- Resend — transactional email delivery + contact storage for the newsletter (policy).
- Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure logs (policy).
- Google (Tag Manager, and Analytics/Ads when enabled) — tag management, analytics, advertising measurement (policy).
- Meta (Pixel/Conversions, when enabled) — advertising measurement and audiences (policy).
- Substack — newsletter delivery (Beyond Noise), if you remain subscribed (policy).
- Cloudflare — DNS and network security for the domain (policy).
We do not sell your personal information for money. Using advertising cookies may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law — you can opt out via our cookie banner or the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, and we honor GPC.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data; to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights (CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and others). EU/UK residents have rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any right, email lucas@lucashubert.me. We will verify and respond within the timeframes required by law.
Data retention
We keep purchase and tax records as required by law, and newsletter contact data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
International transfers
We and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
