Refund Policy

We sell two different things, and they carry different terms. Digital products are refundable. Advisory work is not. Both policies are stated in full below, so you know exactly what you are buying before you buy it.

Digital products: 30 days, no questions

This covers Asymmetric Decisions (the book), The Decision Filter and Shadow Patterns, whether bought separately or as a bundle.

Read the book. Run the filter on a real decision. If it doesn't change how you decide, email us within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full. No form, no process, just write to us.

The book and protocols stay yours either way.

How to request a refund on a digital product

Email lucas@lucashubert.me from the address you used at checkout. Refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.

Advisory work: no refunds

This covers The Asymmetric Decision Gate and any other bespoke advisory engagement. These are not digital products. You are commissioning original professional work: an outside architectural read of your specific situation, produced by hand, for you alone.

The fee buys that judgment, not a particular conclusion. The move the memo names may be uncomfortable, and it may be the one you have been avoiding. We will not rewrite the memo to make it more palatable, and we do not refund it because the answer was not the one you wanted. Once the memo is delivered, the engagement is complete and the fee is non-refundable.

The single exception: if we do not deliver the memo at all, you are refunded in full. If you are not certain you want an unvarnished read, do not commission one.
